El nuevo asunto que llega al estudio de Nico aparenta ser muy simple: la cobranza de una pequeña deuda atrasada. Sin embargo, no tardará en advertir su error; nada en este caso será lo que parece.

Inesperadamente, se hallará envuelto en una peligrosa intriga junto a un desalmado mercenario internacional, la bella nieta de un misterioso anciano oriental y el tenaz comisario Galarza.

Nadie está dispuesto a mostrar su juego, pero todos saben quién tiene la carta ganadora. No les resultará fácil encontrarlo. Se trata de un experto en engaños, trucos y disfraces. El enigmático “Mago Escarlata”.

The Case of the Magician and the Secret Key

The new case that turns up at Nico’s office appears to be quite simple: to collect a small debt. However, he will shortly realize that he was wrong; nothing in the case is what it appears to be.

Unexpectedly, he will become involved in a dangerous intrigue with a merciless international mercenary, the beautiful granddaughter of a mysterious oriental old man and the resolute officer Galarza.

No one is willing to put the cards on the table, although everybody knows who’s got the winning ace. It will not be easy for them to find him. He is an expert in tricks, deception and disguise; the enigmatic "Scarlet Wizard".
